You can apply for a loan online via the GMB website from the comfort of your own home at your own speed. We even have a loan application checklist to make sure you have everything you might need before getting started.

Our loan process is digital-friendly and designed to save you time and stress. You can apply online for a loan in about 20 minutes. As you work to establish your loan, you will be able to submit most of your documentation through our banking portal.

We know the loan process can feel intimidating. That’s why we work to make the process as easy as possible from start to finish. You can get a custom home loan quote in minutes with our online mortgage rate calculator. This calculator estimates your mortgage loan rate by factoring in Home Equity Line of Credit loan details such as the purchase price and required loan amount, your credit score and more.

Quick Closing Timelines and Appointments

The digital loan process through GMB has also allowed us to shrink the closing timeline for your loan. Close in a matter of a few weeks, rather than months.

  • Make sure to regularly update your mobile banking app with the latest security patches.
  • Change your banking password every three months (located under “Profile”).
  • Don’t use free Wi-Fi in restaurants, hotels and other public spaces for online and mobile banking — it may not be secure. Instead, use the data connection through your mobile provider.
  • Be aware that Great Midwest Bank will not contact you with an unexpected call or email asking for your personal or account information. Scammers can “spoof” a phone number to make it look like you’re getting a call from the bank. If you get a call asking for your information, hang up and call us at (888) 485-4400.
