FINANCIAL ADVISOR ASSISTANT

Great Midwest Bank is seeking a full time Financial Advisor Assistant to work out of our Brookfield, WI office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for administrative functions in investments, securities and insurance.
  • Creates, maintains and researches confidential client portfolio reports using various portfolio reporting software programs.
  • Management of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Communicates with clients, prospects and bank employees about financial products and services.
  • Assists in ensuring compliance to securities regulations, financial advisor licensing and education requirements.

To qualify for this position, you must have:

  • Computer skills adequate for creating/maintaining databases, ability to learn various software packages.
  • Excellent written and oral communications, experienced in writing formal business letter and email correspondence.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Problem solving and resolving escalated issues, work independently with little direction

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • 2 -5 years experience in related fields of securities/insurance/banking industry
  • FINRA series 6/7 a plus but not required.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet daily deadlines and flexible in multi-tasking.

MORTGAGE LOAN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Position provides administrative support to Mortgage Loan Officer in the Brookfield, WI Office to maximize overall production, efficiency and increase level of client satisfaction.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Follow up with borrowers to collect required documents and may act as communication liaison with all parties involved in mortgage transaction; Assist Loan Officer in tracking the progress of the loan application to ensure all deadlines, contingencies and closing commitments are met; Assist in the input, updating, and finalization of initial applicant information and disclosures via the mortgage processing system (Encompass);Track and monitor progress on all third party documents including appraisals, title, subordinations, flood certifications, verifications of employment, etc.; Responsible for scheduling loan closings with all parties involved. May attend and/or be asked to assist in loan closings; Provide any assistance necessary to prepare the loan file for closing.

Education, Experience or Equivalent

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Must be comfortable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Minimum two years of banking/administrative/customer service experience.
  • Mortgage banking experience and exposure to residential loan origination in a banking environment preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a professional office environment.
  • Proven experience as a self-starter, dependable and accurate in completing work tasks/responsibilities with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred candidates may also have:

Demonstrated experience within the mortgage and or banking industry.  These candidates will be given particular priority, especially if the experience involves use of Mortgagebot, Encompass and Fiserv/Cleartouch software.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE OPPORTUNITIES

Teller Supervisor – Madison 

The Teller Supervisor serves as a leader on the teller line. The Teller Supervisor will oversee and provide direction to branch frontline staff in the processing of customer financial transactions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Supervises Teller staff on a day-to-day basis; Processes various financial transactions, open new accounts and performs front-line Teller job functions, and providing accurate and timely client services; Manages Branch Office in the absence of the Branch Manager; Provides guidance to Teller’s in complex customer transactions, balancing daily settlements and meeting customer needs; Ensures that maximum security procedures are followed and practiced at all times.

Education, Experience or Equivalent

Prior banking experience required. 5+ years of progressive bank Customer Service/Teller Management/New Account experience preferred.

Must possess an in-depth working-knowledge of banking services and products; Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills and deals with both staff and customers in a friendly, professional manner; Must have a strong background and proven work experience with respect to banking laws, rules and regulations pertaining to depository procedures; Must possess a working-knowledge and experience level with bank security procedures, personnel policies and safety procedures; Ability to resolve complex problems in a timely manner; Possess excellent oral and written communication skills; speak effectively before groups and/or customers or employees; Demonstrate good sound judgment and willingness to make timely decisions accurately and with minimal supervision.

M- F available during hours of 8a-5:30pm Rotating Saturday schedule 9a-12p
